I’m always here for you

Right now, I am offering virtual consultations where I guide you step by step to support your baby, infant, or toddler. These sessions are eligible for insurance reimbursement if your policy covers Osteopathy services provided by my clinic.

Insurance coverage

Most insurance companies recognize my clinic as a trusted provider. Since every policy is different, I recommend checking directly with your provider. Please note that Canada Life is still in negotiations with our professional board and is not reimbursing Osteopathy claims at this time.

Future in-person sessions

I will return to Canada in January 2026 to offer in-person Pediatric Osteopathy appointments at Osteobobo. Until then, you can book your virtual consultation and receive personalized care for your child from the comfort of your home.

Pediatric Osteopathy (babies, infants and toddlers)

Dr Mehdy Mahjoub is a dedicated Doctor of Osteopathy and Pediatric Osteopath who trained at the National Academy of Osteopathy, the National University of Medical Sciences and Kindred Academy. He is registered with the College of Registered Manual Osteopaths among other renowned Associations. Beyond the mainstream osteopathic education, Dr Mehdy pursued an advanced program that offered him the opportunity to deepen his knowledge in pediatric biomechanics and nutrition, advanced craniosacral therapy, and visceral manipulation. He has conducted numerous case studies of structural dysfunctions and chronic pain disorders that equipped him with vast practical knowledge and professional qualifications.

To meet individual patients’ needs, Dr Mehdy uses a large variety of osteopathic techniques such as Joint Mobilization, Muscle Energy Techniques, and Soft Tissue Therapy to reduce tensile and compressive stress on the body and mind, and dramatically speed up the healing process of structural, functional, cranial, visceral, and fascial disorders. Using a non-invasive holistic healing approach with his patients, Dr Mehdy always works towards general health and well-being maintenance. Through his practices, Dr Mehdy has become specialized in treating and preventing common disorders that affect every aspect of our children’s lives such as feeding problems, Plagiocephaly (flat head), Torticollis, Colic, sleep disorders, poor posture, musculoskeletal imbalance and more.

Dr Mehdy is particularly passionate about treating newborn babies. His interest in the well-being of babies has led him to focus on daily treatment and advice to achieve effective and long-lasting results. His method is centred around freeing-up developmental restrictions so babies can thrive and be all they can be.

Dr Mehdy’s ‘hands-on’ patient approach always includes patient education. He believes that knowing and understanding the problem is half of the solution. His passion, commitment, dedication, and practical performance are some of his greatest assets and a true testament to his competence as a Pediatric Osteopath.

Besides Osteopathy, Dr Mehdy holds a master’s degree with a specialization in Health Communication and an extensive experience in healthcare environments. He also combines fluency in Arabic, French and English with cultural awareness and the ability to connect well with people around the globe; a set of skills that he developed through his everlasting passion for travelling the world.

Dr Mehdy was introduced to the concepts of mindfulness and meditation at a young age. He is keen on integrating them into daily practice. He is also inspired by the iḥsān philosophy and continuously seeks to improve his methods. He is on the constant lookout for the most up-to-date studies and modalities to capitalize on them and render his practices efficient, relevant, and contemporary.

When Dr Mehdy is not at the clinic or on a home visit, you might find him freediving beyond the ebb and flow of the Pacific.
